BARE Bread is a playful, purpose-driven bread brand reinventing the way kids (and their parents) experience one of the most iconic comfort foods. Shaped like a bear and baked without crust, BARE Bread is a soft, crustless loaf made with wholesome, bare-natural ingredients. It’s designed with picky eaters in mind wih four varieties: polarBARE (classic white), grizzlyBARE (multigrain), pandaBARE (marbled rye) and honeyBARE (honey wheat)—because bread should be fun to eat and easy to love.
This project began as a reimagining of bread packaging. Looking at the grocery store shelf, all bread packaging is exactly alike and impractical. Thin, flimsy plastic bags leave your loaves vulnerable to being squished. With BARE Bread, I set out to challenge those norms by rethinking both form and function. The new packaging was designed not only to stand out visually with playful graphics and a clean identity that reflects the brand’s natural ingredients, but also to protect the uniquely shaped bread inside. The result is a package that feels intentional, sturdy, and gift-like—something both kids and parents are excited to pick up.
