This experimental type book is centered around the writings of Frank L. Baum. This project particulary focuses on a visual representation of Dorothy’s home Kansas. Through the lens of experimental typography, the project brings Baum’s descriptions to life, such as emphasizing key adjectives and drawing attention to his frequent repetition of the word "grey." This approach transforms his words into a dynamic visual narrative, capturing the essence of Kansas as Baum envisioned it, and shifting the usual focus from the colorful world of Oz.
